Richards Blood sample (Type O)

The analysis will require students to further label diagrams with the body regions and identify the organs in abdominal quadrants and regions

The Basic Kit is to implement the Health and Science Pipeline Initiative (HASPI) curriculum for one classroom of 40 students

it is time to share what they have learned with their peers

Medical Chemistry Lab 05: Aspirin Titration Lab Manual Richards Blood sample (Type O)In this lab students compare two types of aspirin using titration. The focus of the lab is on stoichiometry so this titration can be done just after you teach moles. Students will first calculate how much NaOH it should take to neutralize the aspirin based on stoichiometric calculations. Then they will do the lab and find out how much NaOH it actually takes to neutralize the aspirin and do a percent error calculation. The fact that students titrate
