The transparency of each shape allows their overlapping segments to take on the combined coloration of their neighbor, which creates an impossibly intricate web of shade shifting and color additive mixing. This also creates a 3D effect where you see the hexagons form in varying sizes and locations as your eye moves about. Colorama is an appropriate name for this
