GIBRALTAR 1889 SG21a Mint 75c on 1s bistre variety "5" with short foot digital-edition block of four lettered CD-DE1889 75c on 1s bistre, horizontal strip of three from foot of sheet with plate number "1", the centre stamp showing "5" with short foot (R10 2), fine large part o. g. (normal stamps unmounted). Very scarce. Only 107 sheets of 120 issued. [N. B. The presence of the plate number under R10 2 proves this strip as coming from a left pane; right panes had the plate number under the fifth vertical row, which did not exhibit the "5" with short foot variety.]
