James Humbert Craig 'Three of The Twelve Bens Connemara' nudes paring back its topography toJames Humbert Craig was an Irish artist of great esteem. Born in Belfast, he briefly attended Belfast School of Art but dropped out, becoming a mostly self taught painter of landscapes. Craigs style is impressionistic, visions of the Irish countryside so arresting that he represented his country in painting at the 1932 Summer Olympics. This original oil painting speaks to Craigs talent. He chose to never paint for money, only when he was inspired.
