Koppermaandag (Copper Monday) falls on the first Monday after Epiphany (January 6) and is the day of the printers journeymen. In the past, journeymen would visit customers with self printed prints or calendars to offer them. The kopper money received for this was used to celebrate. This gift was a preview of Bram de Doess
