Jackie Gorring 'BE OH MOTHER' surreal come home to ‘Opera House’Jackie Gorring creates from curiosity. Her work, moving between printmaking and sculpture, is inspired by the places she has been, people she has met, flora and fauna, and the comings and goings of her neighbours. Text appears, gleaned from overhead conversations or road signs. BE OH MOTHER is a cacophony of these observations. A figure walks through a blizzard of liquorice allsorts, the text mother oh cleverly arranged beside her where is she going?
