1940s Kiesel Lap Steel Accessories 84” at the first fret1940s Kiesel lap steel guitar in excellent condition. Kiesel was the predecessor to Carvin and manufactured steel guitars, pickups and amps from 1946 1949. In 1949 the name was changed to Carvin. This early lap steel is made from brown bakelite with a wood insert down the back. 22. 5" scale length. The pickup is the legendary AP 6 which was used for decades. An excellent sounding lap steel with a cool art deco look. Comes with the original hardshell
