Vitra East River lounge Chair Note: This is in somewhatThe compact East River Chair by Hella Jongerius combines such diverse materials as wood, metal, leather and fabric. The attractive assemblage of colors and materials is not just aesthetically motivated: the leather covers protect the armrests from dirt and wear, and the seat cushion provides comfortable lumbar support. The striking armchair is, therefore, ideal for lounges, lobbies, and reception areas, where it adds a casual, inviting note.
