Impressions had already received rave reviews worldwide, but it was with their second album that the band really took things to the next level. In 2011, Elegacy met Mark Zonder, legendary drummer of Fates Warning, and Mike Lepond, bassist of Symphony X, who, after hearing the demo for the new album, decided to participate in the recording process. Ivan Giannini (Derdian, Vision Divine) joined
