Have you ever heard the story of the Buddha having tea with Mara? Mara is a shadow figure (representing doubt and fear), coming to disturb the Buddha from time to time. Instead of pushing him away, the Buddha invites him to tea, serving him as an honoured guest. Mara drinks his tea, and leaves after a while, and the Buddha remains undisturbed.
