Antique Sampler By Margaret Lamonby seasonal Any overdyed thread would alsoMargaret stitched this beautiful little treasure using wool thread on a linen fabric. Miss Lamonby finished her sampler August 20th 1840. She used some very happy colors in her sampler and the back was stitched very neat. This sampler has quite a bit of loss due to the wool threads. It is clean and free of any further decay. The sampler measures 13 inches high by 8. 5 inches wide. I found the sampler in the USA but it is most likely from England. All
