Anglo Indian Patinated Brass Tea Caddy or Spice Box day bed Crowell and Company (New York)DETAILS Used to hold tea or spices in India, this small antique, English Victorian period rectangular box is beautifully simple in form with a handle at the lid. Its hinged lid opens to reveal a small, covered compartment on one side of the open interior. It maintains the original patina, but would be nice polished for a more modern look. Heavy solid brass construction. STYLE Anglo Indian PLACE OF ORIGIN India PERIOD Queen Victoria (1837 1901) DATE
