Hrster, Solingen, matched number 5998 to the upper blade and the scabbard with acceptance stamps. Double Waffen Amt stamps to the upper part of the pommel, which also retains all of its blued finish. The rifle retaining button system working correctly. Bakelite grips are undamaged. Fitted with its original leather frog, which has all good strong stitching,
