On the palate there isn't nearly the same density to the middle weight flavors that come up slightly short on the bitter chocolate-inflected finale that could use more depth

The 2020 La Hoya is earthy and tannic and has the chalky sensation from the limestone soils

Very pure but intensely aromatic and concentrated on the nose
