The use of PEI sideplates had already been experimented with in the Amber Trout reel and we were curious if the PEI was rigid and stable enough to be applied as sideplates in a larger salmon reel

This is one of the best casting rods I've ever experienced

The reel appears to have been fished very sparingly and remains in near mint condition with very minor cosmetic marks

Seven feet in length for a four weight line

The diameter is 4 1/8" and the spool width is ~ 1 1/8"
