Serial #4653 which indicates a 1979 date of manufacture. Weighs 4. 8 ounces on my scale. This rod has a faster action compared to the typical Howells taper. The condition is good, with tight ferrules. The rod could use some minor tip straightening, the grip has some modest hand soiling, and the varnish has some minor surface imperfections from hook digs (though I see no
