but these two turned out great and have been favorites ever since

The three sailboats racing was a nod to how much these places are tied to the sea and sailing. This is one of my favorite of the eight Florida map paintings. My Uncles own the original and have it displayed in their dining room in Ft. Lauderdale so I'm fortunate to be able to see it
