Stamped on the reverse: Salem ovenproof 23 K. Gold. The square ashtray features three grooves in each corner where a cigarette could or would be placed when not being smoked. The outer edge and the inside rim of the ashtray have 23K accents which in places have become worn over time. There is some crazing to the ceramic specifically in the white area
