Simply a beautiful and rare find from Gary's shop in the early 1990's

The reel is currently set up for RHW though since it doesn't have a line guard it could easily be switched and used LHW

Almost all of the script on the rod has worn off with the exception of the serial number

Rim to rim diameter 3 1/4" / Spool width: 1 1/2"

The Cardells were close friends with the Youngs and this rod was made in 1953 for Paul Cardell
