What intrigues me about them is I don't believe there is another animal in the wilderness who has made their presence so clearly known without revealing themselves to me

With a glowing mountain landscape and a canoe sitting on shore

All sorts of activity fills the farmyard while we're reminded of the love in the forest air

just as the sun peeks through before setting

This artwork was completed using a combination of colored pencils, pastels and graphite. This drawing was done back in 2007. At the time I was trying to find a way to develop a style that was realistic, yet pushed the boundaries of creativity. This artwork has held a very special place in my heart ever since.
