19th Century Dutch Gilt Brass Oorijzer Netherlands Ear-Iron Headdress & Box art for the Attorney General’s OfficeWe are offering a Dutch Hand wrought and gilt brass Oorijzer in an original antique box the box is stamped on the inside of the lid with the retailer stamp: "E. Van Geldere & Zn. Juweliers Veenestraat 54 's Gravenhage" This Dutch Oorijzer headdress with ornamentation is from early to mid 19th century. 1850's. The ornamentation attached to the sides are called 'stiften'. The Oorijzer is a historic traditional piece of Women's clothing in the
