Hoagy Carmichael Two Handed Bamboo Rod 14' 3/2 #11 8'5" Though rarely seen on classicA Hoagy Carmichael two handed bamboo fly rod, 14', 3 piece, 2 tip, and built for a #11 line. "H. Carmichael", and "1984 14'" are inked on the shaft just above the keeper wrap. The rod weighs 23 ounces on my scale. Hoagy made this rod in 1984 from blanks acquired from Harold Sharpe a few years earlier, and then finished the rod out.
