The tube was owned by fly fishing advocate and author of "Trout", Ernest Schwiebert (according to Lang's). The tube is in excellent used condition with a lovely patina. There are no holes or tears and all of the stitching is intact and strong. The leather remains supply void of cracking and dryness. Aluminum buckle.
