Luka Rosa Fincke / Blood in cycles Digital photo print50 x 50 cm My work, titled "blood in cycles," represents my feelings about my menstrual cycle. Always recurring, always red, always painful. The nature of my body, a body with a uterus. For me, texture was meaningful, rough and prickly, yet also smooth and shiny. Proximity to my body was important to me, which is why I worked with my blood and also with my hands. The circles moving in spirals are an essential symbol because the circle spiral is
