A robust, durable outer tube keeps the absorbent material inside the boom intact. The inner tube provides increased strength during deployment and retrieval. Four clamps in the critical area prevent the booms from tearing apart during retrieval. Multiple booms can be easily connected together using metal clamps and rings.
