Les Pagodes de Cos 1997 - Saint-Estèphe Vieilles Vignes in the heart of BarsacLike many Chteaux, this second wine of Cos d'Estournel comes from the estate's young vines. These Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot vines, aged between 5 and 20 years, were used until 1994 for the production of Chteau Marbuzet. While it may be less "sharp" and less "full" than its big brother (and it's also much cheaper), Les Pagodes remains a true St Estphe that benefits from the house's expertise. The wine is powerful and concentrated but remains fresh
