The plus one ability is probably the most valuable one here and reminds of Dark Confidant But why would players choose Sorin the Mirthless, when they can play Dark Confidant for a lot less mana

I used to draft this card first all the time in design playest because the Johnny in me loved the neat things I could do when I drafted around it

Negate only works on a god if its not a creature on the stack

There are so many good cards to pick from and only 10 slots to fill
