There are now over 1,000 different Pokmon and a world of collectors eager to find the best cards available for them

Such a small number might cut it for Limited, but not so much for a format like Standard, where it'd need to be N=4 to make a splash
in other cases, when a creature is put onto the battlefield attacking, that creature's controller chooses which player, planeswalker, or battle it's attacking
Luckily, some cards can strategically deal with this by either healing or restting the damage on a Pokmon, and one of the most reliable of these cards is Professor Turo's Scenario, which was released in Paradox Rift
So much so that we can't realistically use them when we're playtesting constructed decks
