In the vast majority of games, the life that your opponent gains from you nuking their creatures with Swords to Plowshares will not amount to much, unless theyre playing a black deck with life-to-resource cards (watch out for Toxic Deluge or worse, Yawgmoths Bargain !) Swords to Plowshares isnt a particularly expensive card, and its very easy to find
Charizard ex pairs well with Pidgeot ex to find the Rare Candy that it needs to evolve and Dusknoir to make its Burning Darkness attack deal more damage on earlier turns without having to wait for the opponent to take prize cards
This will give players an official platform to test out the new Standard format before participating in any in-person events
