All its abilities make it strong in a variety of Standard deck archetypes for the time

Rendmaw, Creaking Nest Rendmaw, Creaking Nest gives opponents goaded crows that are too scared to attack you the Rendmaw owner, and it makes for a game with good momentum that all players appreciate

While I understand many people feel options are good - such as the Charm and Confluence cycle - I personally would have preferred stack interaction to be less color restricted, especially due to the colorfixing issues mentioned earlier

However, when I started in Commander at that time, and quite a while after that, one thing bothered me deeply
