MTG 's meta Standard decks usually have plenty of removals, though, and that's why the deck can benefit from cards like Surrak, Elusive Hunter, Pawpatch Recruit, or Frenzied Baloth
Most land destruction effects are sorceries, but there are some creatures that ETB and destroy lands, as well as instants, enchantments, and planeswalkers
Lets say I cast [c]Dizzying Swoop[/c], which taps two target creatures, like [c]Frost Lynx[/c] and [c]Prodigal Sorcerer[/c]
Joshua, Phoenix's Dominant A solid body which can help refresh your fuel, Joshuas face really lacks a standout feature, while the back costs a lot to get to, and really is missing haste to work in aggressive decks for the 5 mana that the transform costs
That gives you the everypony wins dream while still letting you attack, draw cards, and generate mana when the full combo is not happening
Im slightly optimistic about the transform trigger since it can be useful late game, when a Vulshok Battlegear/Godsend is more useful than an unneeded mana rock when you dont need extra mana and when thats the case, the equipments inefficiency isnt going to matter that much since The Irencrags usefulness has waned
